Rules regarding state records:

Nebraska residents may break state records at any USAPL, NAPF, or IPF sanctioned event.  If records are set outside the state of Nebraska, it is the responsibility of the lifter to notify the state chair and records chair of any new records.  Rules regarding age group records follow the guidelines of the IPF, as follows.

Age group Records: Master  records exceeding those gained in the lower age group will be included in the lower age category.   Likewise Teenage records exceeding those gained in the older age group will be included in this group.

Single lift Records:
(a) Should a lifter exceed the single lift bench press record whilst lifting in a three lift powerlifting contest, he / she may claim the single lift bench press record.
(b) Should a lifter in a single lift bench press contest exceed the three lift powerlifting record he / she cannot claim the three lift powerlifting record
